Grower, Maker, Artist, or Gardening Enthusiast? Show Off Your Skills in Our Competitions!

Think you’ve got the best garlic, tomatoes, sauces, or preserves? Or perhaps the biggest, strangest, or most artistic creation inspired by garlic and tomatoes? The Tasmanian Garlic & Tomato Festival is your chance to shine!
Our competitions celebrate excellence in homegrown produce and creativity. From perfectly ripened tomatoes to unique sculptures, paintings, or photos that embrace the garlic and tomato theme—if it stands out, we want to see it!
We’ve updated our competition categories this year to be even more inclusive, celebrating the incredible diversity of tomatoes grown by our passionate community. With so many unique shapes, colours, and flavours, we want to recognise them all!
New for 2025, we’ve introduced the Most Interesting or Unusual Tomato category—perfect for those standout varieties that don’t fit the traditional mould. Whether it’s a fascinating heirloom, an unexpected colour, or an oddly shaped curiosity, we can’t wait to see what you’ve grown!
